The Junior Planner will primarily support our municipal planning practice group and occasionally support our environmental and land development divisions. The successful candidate will understand the land development process, possess a general knowledge of site design review and approval practices, the local/state consultation processes and have experience with State and Federal grant writing. The Junior Planner will support and serve our municipal clients in a technical advisory capacity either in the office or on assignment. Experience with public presentations to Municipal Planning Boards and Zoning Board of Appeals is a plus. A general working knowledge of municipal land use approval processes, SEQRA as well as state and federal land use and environmental laws is required. BS/BA degree or higher in environmental sciences, urban planning, geography, or a closely related field with one (1) year experience is required.
